OpenSpaceJune2013_018In this workshop, you can see how a session group works. Again, this is what people ask for, and I think that a few pictures speak better than a 1000 words. In these sessions, we work very hard in the creation of a safe environment to practice, be wrong; practice, practice, practice and learn together.

A session group could be named a “Coach’s Retreat”, “Open Space”, “Lean Coffee”, or “Open Discussion”. The most important thing is always be sure that you evaluate whether or not you have the need of a facilitator. Most people are not used to having a facilitator, and sometimes, people don’t know “why” they need one. If you are in this list, please spend 3 minutes to read this short post about the facilitator role.

Now, what I promised, no more words, only pictures…

I hope these pictures talk to you, I can only say that every session had the right output and I personally always enjoy the interactions of each one. Sessions can be used to address the most complex issue in one team or organization. Do you want to try it? Contact me and we can set up a pilot program for your organization.

Thanks,

Omar.
